Retro Fitness - Freeze not frozen
I paid for an entire year up front, shortly after, I injured my knee and had to have surgery. I called, and the woman on the phone said, " no problem, we will just freeze your membership, and you can just come back in when you are ready."
When I tried to return, they told me that my membership was expired. I never got any notice or any information that told me of limitations, or that they were not going to honor the time I needed for recovery after my surgery.
I thought this was a very dishonest practice, and while it is not a huge amount of money, at the time of work loss, and extra expenses, it was significant to me.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
